Human nature

is nature.

Grow wild!

Permaculture is…

a design system that supports sustainably abundant cultivated ecosystems, by applying principles and patterns observed in nature.

Now, guess what? … We are embodied ecosystems!

The human body contains groups of living organisms interacting with non-living messengers–like hormones and electrical signals–via our thoughts, feelings, and sensory experiences.

The human being contains intersections of our intrinsic nature, lived experiences, and the influence of non-living systems–like media, education, governance and the economy.

Like nature, we experience time in cycles and seasons, form beneficial and harmful relationships, have physical needs, adapt to changing environments, and create connections in tactile and intangible ways.

Also like nature, we experience growth, restriction, loss of biodiversity, and regeneration of wild self-hood. We contain precious resources, rich territories, expansive variety, unknown depths and unintelligible heights.

As a Social Permaculture practice, WildWay supports sustainably abundant human ecosystems, by reconnecting our inner nature to the principles and patterns observed in nature.
